If you are running/organising an event that is looking for something different to add value to the show then the Earl of Loudoun's may be the answer you seek.

The Earl of Loudoun's Regiment has over 45 years experience of putting on displays of combat and life from the 17th century, bringing history alive to the satisfaction of both public and sponsor alike. What we provide is both educational and spectacular.

We have organised events at Scone Palace, Blairquhan Castle, Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace, Falkland Palace, Fernie Castle, Drum Castle, Provanmill House, Carmichael Estate, Biggar, Prestonpans (this event attracted 12,000 public), Broxburn, Uddingston, Aberdeen, Newburn, Newcastle Castle, Dunbar and many more. We have done film work for Cromwell Videos, SWT, BBC, and Walt Disney. We have also put on a show for Princess Anne as part of a Royal visit to Napier University. 

"From concept to delivery on site, the Earl of Loudoun's Regiment of Foote were communicative, clear and accommodating to the quirks of the site.

Having delivered a successful event in 2024, we picked up the baton to do so again with a Historical Reenactment weekend in August 2026. Starting from scratch we approached it with a clear remit to help deliver the best event possible, and this was achieved by a great number of meetings and calls, site visits and emails. The weekend was enjoyed by over 2000 visitors to our site and they engaged with all manner of the offerings that were set up, from the artillery to the cavalry, the living history encampment and the expertly delivered arena content that was narrated incredibly well. An event that we thoroughly enjoyed facilitating and we look forward to doing so again I the future"
